At Magna, our vision is to create great homes together. We have ambitious plans, and are seeking creative, aspirational, and talented people to join our fast paced, adaptable, and highly collaborative environment.
The role & what you take care of:
Ready to help customers find a place they’re proud to call home? We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Sales and Marketing Officer to promote and sell our shared ownership homes while delivering an excellent customer experience. You’ll guide customers through their home-buying journey, from first enquiry to completion, helping them feel informed, valued and confident throughout. Working with colleagues across Magna and our external partners, you’ll build strong relationships, identify opportunities and support our processes in a way that reflects our values, keeps customers at the heart of what we do, and helps create better homes and communities. Key duties include:
Support the Sales and Marketing Manager to plan and deliver effective marketing campaigns for shared ownership and other tenures, helping to promote Magna’s homes to the right customers.
Gather, collate and prepare the information needed for sales brochures, adverts, explanatory materials and other marketing content, ensuring everything is accurate, clear and aligned with sales and marketing programmes.
Carry out market research in areas where Magna is building homes and recommend initiatives to help market new homes effectively and attract eligible customers.
Ensure all marketing materials and activities follow best practice, relevant guidance and external legislation, while organising and publicising sales and marketing events to promote available homes.
Attend site meetings, contribute to decisions about internal specifications, arrange open days and carry out customer viewings, regularly inspect void homes when needed and nominate eligible customers in line with relevant policies and guidelines. A comprehensive role profile will be provided.
What you need to be successful:
Customer-focused experience: You will have experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, with the confidence to support customers, respond to queries and provide a positive, professional service.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills: You will be able to communicate clearly and build effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors, partnering agencies and external stakeholders.
Teamwork and problem-solving: Motivated to work independently and as part of a small team, with the confidence to tackle unexpected problems, think creatively and find practical solutions.
Organisation, IT and performance awareness: IT literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent systems, and able to support the review of performance across agencies such as solicitors, financial advisors and estate agents.
Relevant sector knowledge and mobility: Experience in property sales, lettings or housing management would be advantageous but is not essential. You will also need a current valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
Applicants with transferable qualities are encouraged to apply.
