Location: Home-based with occasional travel to Magna Head office in Dorchester DT1 2PJ, therefore we suggest that you reside within 50 miles distance of this location.

The role & what you take care of:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Officer. You will be part of a team where our people are passionate about delivering an all-round outstanding customer experience. This is a diverse opportunity for a skilled and conscientious housing professional to deliver a high-quality lettings service by ensuring Magna vacant homes are efficiently allocated. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service, while maintaining elevated standards of quality, adapting readily to accommodate the needs of both Magna customers and team colleague. You responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To let our existing homes and new builds to customers wanting a quality home that’s right for them.
Carry out detailed assessments to ensure homes are let in line with the relevant policies, procedures and agreements.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficiency in the empty homes delivery process.
Work with local authorities, registered partner’s and other stakeholders as required.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer data through diligent record maintenance.
What you need to be successful:
Previous experience working in housing association lettings alongside a CIH qualification would be considered advantageous.
Great customer service, communication and IT skills.
The capability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads effectively, and work independently when necessary.
Familiarity with the geographical region of Somerset and Dorset.
Able to deliver team targets without compromising the customer experience.
