Hi, I’m Gail - Policy and Research Manager at Magna.

I support the business to develop and maintain our policy and procedure portfolio.

My role is all about keeping things simple, compliant, and practical — so we can deliver great services while meeting our legal and regulatory responsibilities.

I keep a close eye on new legislation, sector trends, and emerging risks, and translate all of that into what it means for Magna. I support teams across the organisation to review, improve, and streamline our policies, making sure they’re easy to understand and aligned with how we actually work.

I’m also passionate about good governance, consistent processes, and helping people feel confident about using the tools and frameworks we put in place. Whether it’s supporting major projects, horizon scanning for future changes, or helping shape how we manage risk, I’m here to make complex things clearer and to help Magna stay ahead.

In my spare time I enjoy running - to date I have completed three marathons and eight half-marathons.
