Hi, I’m Unity, the Governance Manager at Magna.

I bring nearly 15 years of governance experience from the charity, public, education and now social housing sectors. I hold both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as a Diploma in Leadership and Management.

At Magna, I lead the governance team and make sure our governance practices are strong, proportionate and meet regulatory expectations. My role supports the Board and executive team so they can make clear, compliant and well‑informed decisions.

I look after our Governance Framework and policies, making sure we meet our constitution, code of governance and regulatory standards. I also provide advice and secretarial support to the Strategic Board and its Committees.

I’m passionate about governance being more than a set of rules. For me, it’s the foundation for transparency, accountability and good decision‑making. I believe strong governance is a real enabler — it supports leadership, reinforces compliance and helps Magna deliver on our values and ambitions.
