I’m Kate, and I lead Risk and Assurance at Magna. My job is to help keep our organisation resilient, well‑governed and ready for anything. I work with my team on risk management, internal audit, business continuity and insurance. Together, we make sure risks are spotted early, handled well and used to strengthen the way we deliver for our customers.

I’ve worked in housing for more than 20 years, and I’m motivated by the difference our work makes in people’s lives. My role gives me a clear view across the whole organisation — how we plan, how we work and how our culture supports great service.

I’m passionate about helping people grow in confidence when working with risk. I use insight and assurance to turn complex information into practical, customer‑focused decisions. I also champion a culture where colleagues feel supported, empowered and aligned in delivering brilliant service.

Collaboration is at the heart of how I work. I partner with teams across Magna to manage change, strengthen governance and create clear, informed ways forward. I’m energised by helping people — and the whole organisation — move ahead with clarity, purpose and resilience.
